Meeting the Next Generation of Attorneys at the HCBA Law Student Networking & Career Fair

18 – HCBA Law Student Networking & Career Fair_9-26-26_D

On September 26, Crossroads For Florida Kids joined law students, attorneys, judges, and legal organizations at the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s 2026 Law Student Networking & Career Fair at the Chester H. Ferguson Law Center in Tampa. Crossroads was proud to take part as a Silver Sponsor.

The fair connects law students from across the state together with local attorneys, firms, judges, nonprofits, and government agencies in a relaxed setting. It helps students build connections within the Tampa Bay legal community that will serve them through law school and into practice, and it introduces them to volunteer and job opportunities early in their careers.

That mission fits ours. Crossroads For Florida Kids provides free representation to youth in the dependency and delinquency systems, and our work relies on attorneys who are willing to give their time and talent. Law students can get involved too, by working alongside our volunteer attorneys on active cases and seeing firsthand how a lawyer can change the direction of a young person’s life. The fair gave us a chance to introduce students to that work and to start building relationships with future Attorneys ad Litem.

We are grateful to the HCBA for hosting the event and for creating a space where students can build relationships with the legal community. Thank you to every student who stopped by to learn about Crossroads.
