Some evenings remind you exactly why this work matters — April 26th was one of them.

We gathered with donors, volunteers, and members of the legal community who stand behind the youth we serve. The room included several judges who regularly refer young clients to Crossroads, along with the attorneys and supporters who walk alongside those clients every day. The night was full of connection, conversation, and a shared commitment to ensuring that no young person in Hillsborough County faces the legal system alone.

The highlight of the evening came when several of our volunteers shared stories from their client representations — not only about how a case changed a young person’s trajectory, but how the experience reshaped them as attorneys, mentors, and human beings. Their reflections were honest, moving, and a reminder that this work transforms everyone involved. Hearing those stories in a room full of people who make this mission possible gave the night a sense of purpose that stayed with all of us.

Your generosity and dedication fuel every courtroom appearance, every case file, and every moment a child or young adult has someone firmly in their corner. That collective effort is what gives our clients stability, advocacy, and hope.
