Strengthening Our Team: Welcoming Alicia M. Norton to Crossroads

We are pleased to introduce Alicia M. Norton, who joined Crossroads in September to serve as Executive Assistant. Alicia brings nearly two decades of experience in higher education and student affairs, along with a genuine passion for supporting our mission.

Alicia most recently served as Student Affairs Manager at Stetson University College of Law from 2004 to 2024, where she developed deep expertise in program coordination, fostering relationships across diverse campus communities, leadership development, and managing major university events, all while maintaining a commitment to professionalism, equity, and integrity.

She is currently completing her Master of Professional Studies and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies from St. Petersburg College, where she graduated cum laude. Alicia is also a member of the National Notary Association and holds certificates in FERPA Compliance, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace, and Mental Health First Aid.

Alicia was drawn to Crossroads For Florida Kids through her previous collaboration with Executive Director Scott Tolliver during their time together at Stetson. “Working with Scott previously made joining Crossroads a natural fit,” she shares. As Executive Assistant, she is excited to support Scott and the entire Crossroads team while working alongside volunteers who share a deep commitment to the most vulnerable children in our community.

“Having worked closely with Alicia at Stetson Law, I’ve seen firsthand the talent, steadiness, and genuine care she brings to every team she supports. She elevates the people around her and strengthens the work we do. I’m deeply grateful she chose to bring that same leadership and heart to Crossroads,” said Executive Director Scott Tolliver.
